Lead Teachers
We are currently accepting applications for the Lead Teacher positions in our Pre-School and Kindergarten rooms. We invite anyone to apply who appreciates the inquisitiveness of a child. Qualified applicants will provide an inviting and welcoming classroom environment for children, parents, and staff. Create weekly lesson plans and provide appropriate training and guidance for assistant teachers. You must provide fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities to keep children engaged in learning throughout their day and use a combination of individual instruction and group instruction on a daily basis.
Must be Lead Teacher qualified following KDHE Preschool & Kindergarten Lead Teacher regulations: 5 2.5 hour sessions of observations, and 1 year of teaching experience or practicum in a licensed childcare facility OR Seven to nine hours of academic credit, and 3 months teaching experience or 1-year practicum in a licensed childcare center OR CDA.
